But as politicians make media rounds and knock on doors in their constituency, you might be wondering just how modern these processes are&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On this page the History of Parliament are looking at the process of a General Election in the 18th century; the electorate certainly looked very different, but what about the electioneering process?
