Hello Patrice Valfre. I purchased your book on C. Potter to help in my search of Papillon porcelain. I have in my possession a piece which I believe is identical to that found on p.318.
I would appreciate very much the opportunity to coorespond with you about the piece I have and your thoughts and on its authenticity. It has a label that claims to have placed it in the posession of Marie Antoinette via M.Thierry. There are also several pieces with same labels and in exact pattern in a british museum.

We do have a biography of Potter (www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1754-1790/member/potter-christopher-1817) but it’s one of our early ones so may be a little out of date! We’re not working on the period at the moment but we are, in the future, hoping to be able to add corrections/more info on our website next to the original text, so if there’s anything you think we should add please do let us know (via website@histparl.ac.uk) – we’d be very grateful. Thanks again and good luck with the book!

I put some information on Wikipedia (only in French for the moment). If you need more information about this fascinating man, I would be please to provide it.
